FLIGHT: Drone SkyShow + Night Markets
This award-winning drone skyshow returns to Canberra on the Australia Day weekend for a series of shows to reflect, respect and celebrate the ever-evolving story of our nation. Internationally recognised event company AGB Creative is returning to deliver this 3D experience spectacle which has been made possible through the support of the National Capital Authority and the National Australia Day Council.

FLIGHT promises an unforgettable evening for families, friends, and communities, featuring new shows and designs, immersive music, and themes. Whether you’re witnessing it for the first time or returning for more, prepare to be amazed as we elevate entertainment to new heights. Join us from 24 – 26 January 2025, as we take to the skies once again and celebrate the magic of FLIGHT!

Essential Local Tips
It’s no surprise the drone show attracts an impressive crowd; for this reason, we find it’s best to turn the evening into a relaxing day by the lake. Arrive early, not only to secure convenient parking but also a premium viewing location. Take some time to enjoy the markets, visit Questacon, the National Portrait Gallery, or play some outdoor games on the lawns by the lake and importantly pack a picknick to make the most of the atmosphere before the show starts. The best place to view the show is Commonwealth Place along Queen Elizabeth Terrace. Other great locations include Kings Park or Regatta Point, though make sure you bring a portable speaker or headphones and tune into the dedicated soundtrack for the full experience (made available closer to the day).
