Winter in the City is returning to Canberra’s City Centre from 5–19 July 2025, with an expanded program of free entertainment, dazzling fire performances and a joyful winter atmosphere perfect for a short break. Just a 3-minute walk from Novotel Canberra, the event transforms the city into a vibrant open-air theatre filled with energy, creativity and warmth.
By day, enjoy space-themed adventure with Mission to the Moon, giggle through the comedic acrobatics of the Circus Firemen, or dance along with the musical antics of Lucky Jim and the spectacular circus acts of Circus Oz. As the sun sets, Flux Entertainment lights up the night with fiery, choreographed performances sure to leave a lasting impression.
The event culminates in a special edition of The Forage on Saturday 19 July, with live music, food trucks and family entertainment from 12pm to 8pm.
